

The Foothills Guard Academy has become an amazing guard experience in our area. The goal of the Academy is to promote the technique and ideas of the art of guard. Every year we bring in amazing staff to help begin the summer training process. The Academy puts a focus on learning correct techniques, terminologies, and ideas for the art of spinning, marching and dancing. Students have the opportunity to learn from World Class level performers and teachers. Classes are provided for all levels and ages of performers! Lisa Ha
Lisa has been a part of the colorguard activity for over 12 years and is a native of Cobb County Schools, graduating from Pope High School.
After graduating in 2008, she continued on to Carolina Crown, Santa Clara Vanguard, and Phantom Regiment, where her passion for the activity grew and developed even more. During the winter season, Lisa has had the pleasure of marching in various winter guards including: Crownguard, Pride of Cincinnati, and Paramount.
In 2009, she began sharing her experiences and knowledge with other students in technique and skills, working with groups such as: Pope High School, Norcross High School, River Ridge High School, Director and Choreography for Allatoona High School, Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp, Kennesaw Mountain High School, and Paramount Winterguard.
She currently attends Kennesaw State University for her B.S. in Exercise Science as a pre-professional preparation in Physical Therapy, with a Minor in Dance. She will continue to share and develop her knowledge and skills to better train and treat athletes in the area.

Ian Lewis
Ian is originally from Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from Jacksonville State University with a bachelors degree in music education. He currently lives in Kennesaw, GA, where he teaches band at Pine Mountain Middle school.
In the color guard world, he is currently the color guard director at Kennesaw Mountain High School and a caption head with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He is/has been a technition and choreographer for various groups such as: Paramount, Reverie, Georgia State University, Western Carolina University, Saint James School, East Paulding HS, and other various groups across North America and Europe.

Jordan Fleming
Jordan Fleming is a 26 year old color guard instructor and first grade teacher from Johnson City, TN. He has been instructing the Dobyns Bennett High school Color Guard and Winter Programs since 2013. Jordan has taught numerous local programs as well as Southeast Independent Winter Guard. Other programs include Woodstock High school from GA, Seymour High school, Science Hill High school, Tennessee High school, and various other programs in the southeast. Jordan's marching experience includes Southeast Independent Winter guard from 2009 to 2013, Glassmen Drum and Bugles corps in 2009, and Onyx Independent World winter guard in 2015. Jordan graduated from East Tennessee State University with his B.S. in Elementary Education.

Cody Segers
Cody Segers is a 28 year old colorguard instructor and college student from Atlanta, GA. He is currently the director at Woodstock HS, where he has been instructing since 2013. Cody is also currently on staff at Atlanta CV, a DCA corps out of Atlanta. He has previously worked with the University of Georgia Winterguard, Forsyth Central HS, Central Carroll HS, Milton HS, and other programs throughout the metro Atlanta area. His marching experience includes four years with the JSU Marching Southerners colorguard, Aureus Independent, Atlanta CV, and Onyx Colorguard most recently in 2015. He is currently attending Kennesaw State university and pursuing a degree in English Education.
